Introduction
Photo studio featured in the movie “Christmas in August” (8월의 크리스마스)The Chowon Photo Studio was featured in the 1998 Korean movie, “Christmas in August” which follows the love story of a terminally ill photographer and a parking agent. The original photo studio was demolished after the film was completed, as was promised to the owner. The city of Gunsan has renovated the building for tourism. Visitors can now view photographs related to the film and take their own pictures with this iconic location of Korean cinema.
