Introduction
Choseon dynasty stone fortress and government office in Seongnae village, Mujang-myeon Gojang-gun, Jeollabuk-doThis stone fortress was designated historical site no. 346 in 1991. With a circumference of 1,400m, the fort was created through the mobilization of 20,000 civilians in 1453. The inside of the fort remains as it was when it was built and many remnants of past structures are also scattered in the surrounding area. Visitors can experience Korean traditional fort architecture while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery that surrounds the area.
