Introduction

Chaeseokgang refers to both the rocky cliffs and the surrounding sea. Situated in the Byeonsan Peninsula, the cliffs were created from rocky layers stratified by the sea. This area provides visitors with a way to enjoy wonderful scenery created by natural stratification. The scenery is especially beautiful during sunrise and twilight. The cliffs are close to the Seonunsa Temple, a place where visitors can enjoy the surrounding forested area while learning about Buddhism.
